The Blank Park Zoo is an excellent smaller zoo and is perfect for younger children but diverse enough for older students as well. We typically spend about 2 hours to walk through the zoo and enjoy all the exhibits. There are several hands-on programs and times when you can feed animals. Check out their website because they offer so many different programs! I am sure someday my girl will want to do the Zoo Keeper for a Day program…

We love all the fun areas the zoo has for children to play and explore!

We always end up feeding at least one animal when we visit the zoo!

***a zoo membership makes a GREAT gift idea, or even better – get a tri-membership to the zoo, Science Center and Living History Farms.
